Founded in 2006, Faction was born in the Swiss Alps by a group of rebellious skiers. The name “Faction” aptly refers to the small but passionate group of skiers that sought to grow the freeskiing community that at the time was largely unrealized. The group prototyped new ideas and tested them out on the Alps, which quickly rose in popularity as many of the skiers at the time had grown tired of the generic ski offerings from big brands.
Today, freeskiing is no longer considered a small “faction” of the skiing community. However, it does remain one of the driving forces in high performance and innovation delivering freedom, play, and adventure!
While Faction skis come in all shapes and sizes, each designed to offer a unique skiing experience, they’re best known for their playful performance that freeskiers crave.
