For too long, backcountry skiers have been stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to the their skis: To compromise on downhill performance for the sake of uphill efficiency, or to haul hundreds of extra grams underfoot to have a ski they feel confident on. The Zero G 105 solves this quandary by bringing Blizzard’s 77 years of experience building ripping skis to the backcountry touring stage. Powered by an ultra-lightweight paulownia wood core paired with an updated iteration of Blizzard’s proven Carbon Drive technology in version 3.0, the Zero G 105 feels just as at home on the skin track as it does attacking the fall line. So go ahead and earn those turns, and have some damn fun while you’re at it.
