When two guys who wanted to the see world outside of their front doors decide to change, things happen. At first, it was a cluttered garage in 1986. Mountain biking at this point was still barely more than a glimmer in the eye of a handful of thrill-seeking, self-destructive pioneers riding lumbering, prehistoric mountain and modified road gear over anything that wasn’t nailed down. That was the time when Pippin Osborne – the dreamer – and Peter Hamilton – the practical guy – hand crafted from aluminum their first bicycle component with technological soul.

Our mission from the very beginning has been to design and build components that could withstand our own unforgiving, and often insane needs. Along the way, we’ve succeeded in defining a standard of strength, performance and durability that is now the benchmark for the entire hardcore Mountain Bike and Road Cycling world.
